A fragment of the Garden of Remembering
Classic dry brownies. Generally somewhat dry and crumbly, also sometimes a bit gooey?
Parts
- 0.75 cups cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 1.25 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Process
- Heat oven to 350F. Grease baking pan, 13x9x2 inches.
- Whisk together main ingredients. Spread batter in pan.
- Bake 30 minutes or until brownies start to pull away from sides of pan. Do not overbake.
- Cool slightly, cut into bars.
