'''Synapse''' is/was a project to create a product around which a potential startup could be based. The product itself went through several ideas and phases, and probably continued to evolve past the involvement here, but basically consisted of an online class discussion and participation platform with in-class and out-of-class components that could be used to augment the learning experience.

Or something along those lines. Ideas and pieces included recording tools, collaborative note-taking, discussion systems, and others.

Aspects worked on included the following:
* Research as to plausibility of the ideas and possible implementations,
* Wireframes and mockups to give people a feel for the workflow
* Prototype testing
