Obviously the cat agrees. Every cat knows that all cats are the most beautiful of all creatures, and each cat knows secretly that he or she is the most beautiful of them all. The husband, if he recognizes this fundamental truth of the world, is a rare treasure and is worthy of a cat's slightly-better-than-indifferent regard.
