I don't like lying, and struggle to do it convincingly. I still manage not to tell people that I hate their baby's name or that the baby is ugly. 'Oh look at those cheeks!' Has always served me well. The parents take it as a compliment and I've not lied at all since the baby does indeed have cheeks that can be looked at.
